can someone tell me why I cant d/load shockwave? I was going to play Mah Jongg and it told me I could update my shockwave...I clicked on the update thingy and since then I cant play Mah Jongg...I uninstalled shockwave so I could re-install it but it wont let me d/load it....

Windows 98...but it says you can use it with 98

That's your operating system. What about your browser? Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, Opera...?

You may have a version of it that's too old for the latest version of shockwave. Click "About" from the Help menu, the version number is in there. It should be 6.
Better still, ditch IE and use Firefox.....

It detects your platform. I get a different page depending on whether I use Firefox or IE. Haven't tried it with Linux.

You might need to reboot. IE doesn't seem to have a means to tell you what plugins are installed.
Are you sure it's the Flash plugin you need? Not Java?

it's definately shockwave...I've got java as well and it still works fine...I'll try rebooting though
