Dan and I were talking about Dream Theater and some songs they did about when a man loses a woman to illness or something. I don't know if any of them went through a blow like that. I started telling Dan about a story I heard where a singer read the Ghost Rider book and couldn't believe Neil still lived. He thought Neil would kill himself after losing Jackie and Selena. This man started to write a song about something like that. I have forgotten who this person was. I kind of remember how the tune went but not the words. Do any of you remember a song like that?

I know someone wrote a song after having read GR, and I think it was a DT member. I can ask *ite about it. He is a big DT fan.

I also heard that the singer from Godsmack wrote "Serenity" for Neil, but I can't confirm it.

THAT is the song and band I had in mind. Sorry, RL, wasn't DT.

I talked to *ite about DT and he knows of no connection to Rush songwise. Sorry I had the wrong band in mind.

Thanks for finding the info for me.

I won't get the song since I've slowed down my Neil fascination. I figured it wasn't DT because James LaBrie has a high voice and whoever this is, sings low.
