Friday morning my husband and I leave on a jet plane and head back east to NY to see H and *ites' wedding ceremony out there this Saturday. Then on Sunday H and I are gonna leave David at their house, drop my husband off at the airport, and head off to stalk people until the 26th when I return to Washington State.

H is Aerosmitten. She's one of the members around here. ite is short for Lifesonite. They left the board awhile back. They are one of the other couples besides Devil's Advocate and myself.

Without knowing your age, and to keep from embarassing you, I'll just say that the Internet is older than you. My wife and I first "met" on the Internet almost 10 years ago, and the by-tor.com domain will be 8 years old in January.

Ah, and there you are wrong boss. OLS and I met in 1983, got engaged in 1987, and got married in 1997.................... so in one way or the other, before the internet. Here's a flashback for you...........

Me thinks you are confusing the Internet with the World Wide Web. While you are an old fart and older than the Internet (if you're older than me, you're older than the Internet, because I'm a few months older than it), it existed before you and your better half met. The idea and some of the technology was around in the late 50's, but the 'Net first came 'alive' in 1969 (ARPANET).
