I've been away lately- not that anyone noticed, I'm sure.
My dad had to have a hip replacement, so I was in Seattle with him for a week.
Anyway, that's why I'm late in wishing you a very happy birthday, Hairy. Hope you had a good one.

A hip replacement? Ugh! I have friends who have had those and they have gone well, but yuck. Don't ever want one.
A friend of mine is going to have a hip replaced in Seattle just as soon as the women's basketball season is done.
