Yes, I enjoyed that story. Reminds that it's the basic, simple stuff that is the best. May we all have a few moments like that this holiday, eh?

P.S. I'm working all Christmas day this year. I'll be searchin for that inner peace.

Oh yeah! I agree, that "time to smell the roses" can be so sweet and so refreshing.

BBO...does that mean we will see you here? If you are able to be here, you can kinda spend Christmas with all of us. ((((((BBO))))))

We aren't celebrating on the 25th. H geds in to SeaTac at about 2357 on the 25th so we are waiting until the 26th to have our holiday. I expect I will sleep in and then just hang about, so I will come in and play with ya, kay?

Christmas 2002 - I'm traveling to my folks house in WV, and Ged to the last mountain before their place...

Weather is cloudy but otherwise not bad...I start my ascent up the mountain with no problem , but after cresting and going down the south face - WHITEOUT!!! Snowing like all Ged out....

Siggette is freaking, and saying we're gonna die...

It was SO bad, I didn't even wanna stop (for fear of someone rear-ending us or swerving into our lane), but remembered that the locals know better than to be on the road at these times...unlike a couple of flat-footed knuckleheads that are traveling in it.

Anyway, quick version - I stick my head outta the window - and drive the last mile al fresco!!! HAHAHA

Sigette hugged me like a teddy bear for "saving our lives".....

I got 'man-points' for that.

Man-points: An imaginary, female-based "Good behavior" point system, mentally (or PHYSICALLY) awarded to men for gallantry, chivalry, romance, lowering the toilet seat, et al.
