I quit drinking a year ago and I'm the oldest!
When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.

Keep getting older, Kev!

Schu, regarding Coke...I asked Eagle to fetch me a cocoa from the concession stands at a game recently, and he came back with a Pepsi. He said, "They didn't have Coke, they only had Pepsi, Mom, so, I hope you like it."

ARGH

With all the "arguements" H and I had about me liking Pepsi and her liking Coke, he should know I don't like Coke and so I wouldn't ask for a Coke! And the fact that I was bundeled up in a jacket and my Pendleton should also have told him I didn't want a cold drink. *sigh*

At least the cola was one I liked.

am I sad or did other people feel like me when approaching 40...?
It's really getting to me...its making me think of life more..not having the career I want...not being able to drive yet..not owning my own home...shit loads of stuff is getting to me...
the main thing...which I have no hand in...is Cameron not being here for it...that's really getting me down...

I was going to propose after I read that you listen to Neil Young but my wife wouldnt allow it but now I may have to anyway.
Do I hear you Schu' or what? I'm 39 in June and I couldnt have put it better myself. I have a couple hours solitude the now and that always pleases me but I'm in the most awkward mood...for no reason whatsoever. I have pot, good music (Neil Young's Harvest at the mo) and space but...
My job is pissing me off big time with the only true option available being a full time college course, something in computers, probably networking. I have to wait until my wife finishes her two year degree before I can do this and she still has 18 months remaining...aaaargh! I may continue this in a 'pm' actually...sigh.

there are many things to consider to be truly happy...you can be happy at one thing, then completely hit the wall concerning another...And don't get me wrong...I'm not an expert, and I have to reach out too...

anyway...what have YOU done to try to overcome that?
