I've noticed a few new folks have joined recently. Being fairly new myself, I can say that the people on this board are some of the friendliest, intelligent, funniest and quirkiest I have had the pleasure to play with. Even our fearless leader By-tor, with all the headaches and grief he endures due to our life-long threads and occasional hippie ways, seems to be a genuinely pleasant chap.
so have fun and jump right in, 'cause 'the more the merrier' I always say (ok, sometimes say), and WELCOME!

Awwwwwwwwwwww...sounds like we haven't been able to scare Zivo away!

I must agree, this place is full of nice folks, and even By-Tor with all his crustiness rocks! Or should I say, he Rushes!

Hey everyone!! I've been a Rush fan since '81 (Tom Sawyer was the first song I heard from them). Rush is one of all-time favorite bands, with the other being KISS.

My first Rush concert was the Vapor Trails concert, here in Columbus. I have to say that it was one of the best concerts that I have ever seen! The other concerts that I rank very highly are: KISS - reunion tour and the Trans-Siiberian Orchestra - Christmas Eve & Other Stories.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone and making a home here. But hey -- enough of my yakkin'. Whaddaya say, let's boogie!

Welcome my binary friend!

I started with Rush back in '81 too, but my first (and so far only ) Rush gig was Moving Pictures.

Other concerts I rank highly are the US FESTIVAL '83 and the Dio gig when I was preg with H.

Welcome you Humanoid Escapee! Glad you got out. :D

What you don't realize is that you've just "escaped" to an asylum.

Hemispheres was my first Rush concert but I was pretty young so it was all a wonderful blur. Moving Pictures was cool too. I haven't seen Rush as many times as I'd like as there was a "break" there for a while. I think VT tour was the most awesome. So electric.

I used to go to Kiss concerts many years ago and thought they were fun but honestly haven't been to one since like High School. I liked Pat Travers, Jeff Beck, Steppenwolf (at a tiny venue--kewl) too in concert and wished I had seen Zep or Floyd.

Again, welcome and look forward to your posts! :)

I saw Steppenwolf when I was preg with H too. John Kay kept running off the stage for short periods and all this smoke would billow out from the backstage area. I wonder what he was doing there?

I'm "sort of" new here. :D

Just glad to be a part of a Rush forum where the craziness never ends! And the whole Tinkertoy thing hints at my first drumset (minus the wastebaskets) ha ha. Was thrilled to see them appear on an album cover.....
