Well, change of plans. Nancy's feeling her age (73, remember?) and her hips aren't letting her walk far and now her shoulder is giving her trouble so she can't cast well. Sooooooo.....we head for Anchorage tomorrow and begin the trip back to Port Angeles (a place, oddly enough almost everyone we've spoken to has been to! LOL).

Nancy was willing to go past Anchorage (yay! stopping at Anchorage would have meant we'd have driven less than 200 miles today) and we made it back to Tok, about 90 miles from the Land of Rush.

E and D dumped the black water all by themselves at the site.

And I have a head cold and feel like crrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrap! Oy.

Taking the day off today and spending one more night in Tok. I woke up and the cold'd moved into my throat. The kids may like that I have no voice! ;-) But, they don't like that they're having to do all sorts of chore stuff or that we won't be home as soon.

Sure is nice just laying here listening to the rain, though.

Oh, and Schu coming back! :-D

Groovy! It's all good.

Have a safe trip back, and hope you feel better real-quick-like! ((((t))))

I'm feeling better now. Been drinking my Vinegar Tea and that helps like the medicine it is. Ugh.

We are done with The Yukon Territory now. Sure was purdy and we saw nice buffalos and caribu and trees, lots and lots of trees and rocks, huge mountains that looked like someone (probably a glacier) ripped all the vegetation off them.

I don't remember if it was in The Yukon or in BC where we saw sedementary layers that were bent and twisted, some of them so that they were standing perpendicular to where they had begun, others so moved that they looked like a bunch of taco shells nestled inside each other. I think that was in the Canadian Rockies, but it might have been in the Continental Divide.

Now we finish going through British Columbia on our way back to Washington. I am looking forward to the Fraser River areas (and being home).

I'll get pics up then, maybe. ;-)
