I didn't know the Rush community thought of this site as "The Dog House"
So is that with chains or not By-Tor?

LOL So we are in the Dog House, eh? Well, I suppose that makes sense, really. Still, I'm with Kev. I wanna know: with chains or without?Mr. Potatoe Head wrote:Welcome to By-Tors Dog House Elderberry

Ogg, I might not get a moment to be on at the same time as you tonight (theres a whole family wanting to get on the computer), so I'll just describe what I'm getting as a problem.
I could get some torrents working, even with it saying "online, maybe firewalled", and then for about an hour it just said "online" and everything worked fine. Now everything is at a standstill, even if I turn my firewall completely OFF, and I can't start any new torrents, it just displays an error message saying that it couldnt connect to a tracker or peers.

There are numerous reasons why you can't connect so a tutorial may help. For example if you found a link on public site then the download may be accessible only to registered users (encourages membership), others have a wait time depending on your ratio. I recommend the use of http://www.utorrent.com/download.php as your main client as its easier to configure tham most.
Anyway, you're a Rush fan then mate? Fav' era, fav' album...?

I enjoyed their 70's keyboards.ElderberryRyan wrote:Vapor trails really wasn't that bad. I agree, the mix probably didn't please a lot of people, but i think the whole "dirtyness" of the sound added to its overall fury! Great songs, and so good to not have a damned keyboard!

Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

Not as much.
Okay, I liked the early 80's stuff. I remember hearing YYZ on the radio before Moving Pictures had been released. During that little keyboard bridge near the end our jaws all dropped, it was so cool. But by Power Windows, where'd they were hiring a keyboard programmer to do stuff for them in the studio... I dunno. Not as cool.
There are exceptions like Bravado. The keys in that song are beautiful.
This is all completely subjective opinion, of course.
