Yes! Schu' I love you . I do not know a single living soul that has even heard of, let alone admit to liking The Divine Comedy. I actually bought the 'A Secret History' album (practically a best of') and downloaded the most recent 'Absent Friends'. Neil Hannon is a pop genius and deserves greater recognition.
Currently playing Divine Comedy - National Express .
when ever I feeling pissed off one song is guaranteed to cheer me up... before I know I jumping about and singing at the top of my voice 'But it's hard to get by when your arse is the size of a small countryeeeeeeeeeee and everybody sings ba ba ba ba da dum'
National Express was the first song I heard by them and since then I've loved the band...and as you say for some reason people wont admit to liking them...dont know why..
They've just releasing a new album ?Victory For The Comic Muse? in June which I imagine will be as good as the rest of their stuff
They're touring in May but I dont know if I'll get to see them
Well...I wouldve thought my profession of love wouldve raised an eyebrow..or at least a comment . Unrequited love is such a heavy burden .
Thanks for the news Schu'.
Currently listening to 'Becoming more like Alfie' by The Divine Comedy
Slaine mac Roth wrote:I've been in rather an orchestral mood of late so I've got the Soundtrack to Harry {otter and the Chamber of Secrets on
Harry otter? Is this an alternative version featuring lovable water dwelling mammals? . I have a soundtrack album collection of mp3's Slaine, all the HP, LOTR's etc etc. The new HP GOFire album is rather disappointing though.
Currently listening to Tool's '10,000 Days' album.
Check this out...... At work I let a co-worker borrow a classical cd I have of Sheherazade By Tchikovski (sp).......................... And another co-worker borrowed it from her. He was telling her he borrowed it and she told him it was mine. He goes, "I would never think Leon would listen to classical music."
