Factoid: I see that he already owns Strat #0001, but it's not the first...?

doesn't gilmour have his strat wired with EMG single coils?and 4k for a strat? get real. I can't play strat necks worth a damn, everytime I pick one up It takes about 15 minutes just to not have my fingers trip over eachother since playing my DC

and why the heck do they go through so much detail as to paint it , then spray it with black laquer so you can't even tell. The hosers who buy these guitars?.. strat + shorter trem arm( shouldn't that cost less :-D ) slightly different trem, some toggles (retail value about 1000$ each apparently) and some pretty standard pickups. Alright, lets go.

Hey, they're Gilmour's specs....if he plays a short trem bar then so be it...

I'm just the messenger!  LOL

BTW - did I mention I play a PRS? LOL

I wasn't lulled into the Fender frenzy, but they have their purpose.

Oh yeah!

This Strat-type guitar is available from the in stock section of the Carvin website. It will sound better, play better, stay in tune better, and feel better than that new one from Fender. And it's $749 plus shipping.

But I think this one is prettier! :-D
