....been shouting at the telly for Alonso and Hamilton to mess up....see when Sato overtook Alonso that was fucking brilliant!

Alonso has been slipping up quite a bit recently. His little bobble in turn 8 or 9 of the USGP probably cost him a win. I am always happy when a McLaren leaves the road. Hamilton hasn't really had any misfortune yet, so he is due for sure.

That Sato pass on Alonso was great. It was too bad that Sato actually passed Kimi a few laps earlier. Super Aguri is making some good progress. They seem to be coming along faster than the factory Honda team is that's for sure.

I was reading today that Kimi may be out of Ferrari at the end of the season. I think it's a little premature to start talking like that, but both him and Massa need to pick up the pace. It's not good seeing McLaren Mercedes at the top of the Championship table.

if Kimi was to go I wonder who Ferrari will get..?

I cant see Hamilton leaving McLaren any time soon...personally I'd like to see Heidfield get a drive with them

That's a good question. Heidfeld might make a good choice. I also think Kubica would do well there, assuming he still has it after his crash.

You're right about Hamilton, I don't think he will be leaving McLaren for a few years yet.

I'd like to see Piquet Jr. drive in a race to see how he does. He might be an option if he can get out of his current deal with Renault.

Congratulations Kimi!!! Are you finally getting settled in at Ferrari?? It only took 9 races.

Great drive from both of the boys yesterday. The pace of the Ferrari was awesome. If Massa learns how to keep the engine running on the grid we'll be all set.

If Massa didn't stall, Ferrari could easily have gotten first and second. Overall I felt the race was really good. There was even some passing on track!

Ok, correct me cuz I'm prolly wrong, but we watched a little F1 this weekend, and Schumacher was racing.

Didn't he retire last year???

Was it a different Schumacher?

As you can see I don't really follow it.

I watched some of it myself.

Don't care for the whiny engines at all....

They sound like leaf blowers on steroids.

Did they wind up penalizing Massa (for his crew member touching
the car when he had to be pushed off track) at the start?

I enjoyed the American named SPEED. Fitting. hahaha

We had a NASCAR driver named Lake Speed.

Any relation?

Ralf Schumacher is Michael's young brother. I don't really expect him to be around for too many more seasons as he really, really sucks. He drives for Toyota this year, but will probably be with another team next year. He actually offered to take a pay CUT from $30 Million this year to $5 Million next year if he can stay with Toyota.

They never did penalize Ferrari as the regulations aren't clear enough. It doesn't say the the team cannot touch the car, only that the marshalls are responsible for moving it off the track.

I'm glad you guys watched some of the race this past weekend. It's good to see other people get interested in F1. Be careful, you might get addicted to it...
