To be honest, Orange wouldn't have been my first choice either. But the price was the clincher. When I called my big brother/bandmate and told him what I had done he said, "Orange?! That's my favorite!" So... I'm happy. I think it'll work well for us.

And again... while looks are indeed important, what I'm really after here is tone. This guitar immediately brings to mind the old Gibson "Switchmaster" that Carl Perkins used to play all the time back in the day. And during one of our gigs, we end up playing a lot of Carl's songs. This thing should fit in great!
