And the cartoon illustrates the hypocrisy of one who insults people for doing something, then does the exact same thing himself, then whines that anyone would have the audacity to criticize him for it. That is real humor.
Case 1: A patient has back surgery and is left in extreme pain. The doctor prescribes Oxycontin and the patient becomes addicted.
Case 2: Disco Stu digs the flashing lights and music a lot more when he's snorting coke.
You left out the part where Limbaugh pressures his housekeeper to find him illegal drugs on the black market, or wherever one finds illegal drugs these days.
Not to mention the fact that Disco Stu isn't in the business of stating that he is righteous and drug users are criminals on the "Excellence In Broadcasting" Network.
There's yer difference, my buddy.
I said my last post before reading previous...to be honest didnt think they'd be that many posts

The only place that allegation appeared (that I ever saw) was in The National Enquirer. It was investigated for years and was never substantiated. He denied it. I believe him. No reason not to.
But for argument's sake, let's say it's true. Remember the episode of House where it came to light that he was "borrowing" the other doctor's prescription pad and forging the other doctor's signature to write himself more prescriptions? That didn't make me want to mock Dr. House. It made me grieve for him even more. The devastating effects of addiction. In my feeble mind it's a mean spirit that wants to mock that.
The difference in my two cases was that one was a selfish pleasure seeker and the other a victim of a painful circumstance.
I dig what you are saying, man. I don't think I'm a druggy-mocker or a mean spirit. I do all I can to make people smile and laugh wherever I am, but my serious point still stands and seems pretty strong;
Disco Stu isn't in the business of stating that he is righteous and drug users are criminals on the "Excellence In Broadcasting" Network. And that is the point of the cartoon. Not to mock those who are addicted, but to mock those that are hypocrites....like me.
