We just got a new Dell laptop, with a wireles card,
highspeed internet through the cable company,
and a wireless router, so our son can play x-box 360 at the same time we are online!
Now it takes only 3 minutes from powering the laptop
on to being online, whereas my son's laptop
with dial up was at least 10 minutes.
*cus the Jefferson's theme - 'well we're movin' on up!

We got DSL recently and what a change! It takes much less time for us than it did when we were on dial-up, and we ged so much more (goofing off) done in the time we spend online now.

We have basic expanded digital cable w/o pay stations and internet cable.
