Andy, your son is absolutely beautiful! (Can I use "beautiful to describe a boy??
)
Thank you for sharing those pictures, and I'm so happy that you and your family are doing well. You've been through a lot, so it means so much to see him so healthy and vibrant.

Hey gang!
Long time no update. Just wanted to let you know that JT is doing well and thought I would finally get some pics on here for you now that I can get it to work. JT is right at 15 pounds now and the only problem we have currently is some constipation. With his hernias and past intestinal problems, we can't have the boy backed up....
. Otherwise he is moving right along, eating cereal and veggies, vocalizing a lot (sounds like Geddy maybe), and developing quite well for a preemie. He is quite the charmer and everyone loves him. Keep him in your good thoughts and well wishes, and as always (to the praying folk) in your prayers.
Thanks and enjoy the pictures,
NWM

I am still.
I am crying.

I'm forever.

Still... I am.

Hi gang,
Another update on our NW little Dude. We had an appointment with a orthopedic doctor to see why JT's left foot turned out slightly. We think he may have to have a brace. The doctor wanted us to have him tested by a pediactric neurologist since she thinks he may have a slight case of cerebal palsy affecting his left side. I really don't think he does (or I am in denial). He favors his right side in some cases which may be an indicator of this. She thinks if he has it, no one would know unless we tell them (maybe a slight limp). It scares us and we hope if it is the case that his mind would not be affected. One of our biggest fears is that when he gets older he would be made fun of (more than the usual cruel kid stuff). We will keep you updated when we know some more.

I think it's really hard to tell with someone so young, they may just be un-coordinated, if you really want to know you'll have to take him to the neurologist I suppose. I don't know much about it, so I'll just ask, is there any treatment for minor cases of Cerebral Palsy? If there is you should definitely have it checked out!

Just like to say that I'm glad he seems to be coming along. As the Father of two young children myself, I know how worrying it can be with even minor ailments.
So, keep us informed and the best to all of you.
