It's lake placid blue. It was the metalic blue look that made her want it. But it has a comfortable enough neck and some pretty decent pickups... better than the stock pickups in the Squier Standard Strat I used to own.
The bridge pickup I have can sound like a buzzsaw when I get my Strat distored enough- I was never fond of the neck pickup though.
I like the bridge, bridge/middle and middle pickups on it.

Actually, they have been dating for 2 and a half years. He is a pretty nice kid, and truth be told, I feel a little sorry for him. She has him in check.

truth be told, I find it hard to believe I have a grown kid. I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. I got a little tear in my eye when they pulled out of the parking lot.
