Of course, man!

I'm just glad anyone is interested.

me too.. what a labor of love this project has been.. mostly for BBO.. he did all the work, but the words were a journey in themselves, if you know what I mean. :-)

That I do, bro. The inspiration for the entire project. BTW, this has become a bit of a concept piece. Meaning that I didn't want to jam all of the ideas and sentiments of the lyrics into one unit, so after this one there will be at least another, if not two more to come. :-)

Singing them, actually :-D

Not sure. I got a solid 3 min. 15 sec. taking the lyrics right up to the "bad friday" part, so I thought that we'd keep it happy fresh and new throughout the tune, then connect the 'trouble in paradise' part as a separate song.

Dude. Bart melted the tree, then. Marge will have to buy a new one and it may take a day or two (more) before it is decorated to specifications. Disappointing, I know, but it's an imperfect science that is dominated by time and its constraints.

In other words, the vocals, unlike guitar, bass and drums, are less linear and tend to take longer. Longer than instruments and longer than I expected to create the right melodies and get the notes right and recorded well. Also, as I am recording the vocals, I can hear harmony possibilities that have to be explored (like new-found lovers.) I promise that the song will be done soon, but Christmas has to be bumped up a few days.
