wow what a weekend :-D ...we sat at Luffield and Woodcote on the Friday for the practices and on Saturday we were at Copses..we were planning on walking round the circuit and watching the quals at Stowe but it was way to hot!...we are from Scotland after all ;)...the sound was unbelievable......it really did hurt your ears
unfortunately Alonso won......but Kimi held Schuey up ;).......but it really didnt bother me as the atmosphere was electric......I ended up with a sore back and neck as I was that tense during the race
I have to go back to the noise the cars made...I had been told they were loud but I never expected them to be so loud...you couldnt be heard even if you were shouting into someone's ear...and the back firing that they made I wasnt expecting either as you dont hear that on telly...
If you get the chance go.......but dont get a general admission.......they may be cheaper but you need to queue from about 4 in the morning...

NASCAR is the same way- I likened it to "43 very very angry hornets nests circling the track" and when they queue up after a yellow...forget it, hand gestures is all you'll be able to understand.

NASCARS?

Stock cars, although the only thing left stock is the rear decklid.

The Car of Tomorrow is going to make that worse.

THAT's why I don't call 'em STOCK CARS anymore...

NEXTEL Cup, Busch (or, as we old timers call it: Busch Grand National) Series cars....Only difference in 'em is a couple hundred horsepower...

Yeah, 800-plus horsepower engines do nasty things to the senses

USA GP...

how the fuck did Ferrari orchestrate Schuey being in front of Massa after the first pit stop...Schuey was stopped for 8.2 secs...Massa for 7.5!......James Brundle and James Allen can be assholes at times!

By telling Massa to slow down. There's a reason Ferrari's pit-to-car radio is encrypted, y'know.

if that was the case do you not think they would have conviently told Massa to let Schuey past well before the pit stop then...
