I'm glad I finally made it to this thread--read it tonight all the way from the beginning. :-D I couldn't find pics of the house with the new siding on, though. :-( And do you have pics of the new furnace yet? :-)

I'm not sure how I missed all 'a this. That was some tank of a heater you guys removed! Took a chunk outta Leon, no less. Like Elf said, that's a cool looking antique hunk of metal.

I wanted to wait till the front deck/porch was finished to get the pix of the siding posted.........It looks great, just not quite finished.

We need to load the new furnace pix, and that job is still in progress also. Need the rest of the ducting done and then it is golden.

When I took it to the scrap yard the guy there asked for it, then so did one of the salesmen at my work, but it was already gone.

I can see that. People hit me up for old electrical devices all the time.

Look at all the room we have now.... YEAH!!!
I get some storage room.

You can see where the old furnace used to sit. Just look at the floor.

I'm standing where the blower portion of the old system used to be.

Leon is standing in the area where the old furnace unit was.

If you're doing any electrical work, I can help you with NEC code
requirements and physical wiring issues to keep the inspectors happy
(if you have to pull a permit).

Couldn't see the pics, but congrats on the new equipment - and the new
space!
