Okay, since I'm responsible for destroying this topic, I shall restore it...hopefully.

Just a comment on the Army Strong slogan being disliked. I don't get what is wrong with it. The men and women l have met who have served in the Army have been strong. Add to that the fact that my boy has been training before he went to boot and is taking his traini g seriously while he is there, even to the point of turning down the cookie shipments neighbors offered to send him because he doesn't want to eat junk while training and l just don't see the problem you have with Army Strong. You are talking about people who train and work hard, not ones who are at summer camp.
What am l missing?

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and
degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is
worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is
willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal
safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless
made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Whoa l didn't mean to make you think l was freaking out at you. Just a sincere question being asked cuz l really don't get your point of view on it. Again, you made a statement and gave nothing for me to understand it by. I gave my side and asked for yours but will drop it.
