Let me tell you M, Terry has been doing some different amp things with us also. It is a pain at times because as a drummer I don't hear all the nit picky fidgitty stuff he does, but I understand. If you can make it work, and you have the room for it there is NO REASON you shouldn't use all your resources at the time. It is after all YER sound right?!?!?!?!?

Do it bro...................go for it!!!!! :-D

You raise a good point. Guitarists go off on these tone quests. But the audienece will generally never know the difference. I think a lot of guitarists are always trying just to impress other guitarists. :)
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

Tone is in your fingers how hard you mash the string, the subtle vibrato , i think what really makes you stand out is just force and legato technique.

Dude, I have a Crate 40W that looks just like it!

Same features you spoke of, same lame distortion. HAHAHA

I still use mine, 'cept I use a Zoom pedal and a Morley wah
with it as well.

I agree with Myg too....EXPRESSION means a lot.

I was lucky enough to see him do this live on the CSTW tour....

Stevie Ray plays behind his back AND sings for you simultaneously:

THIS SITE IS GREAT!

http://www.ivideosongs.com/

I found this while surfing the RIAB board....

If you wanna play like Lerxst, why not let him TEACH YOU!

I'm groovin' on Spirit of Radio anyway, so this was the right
opportunity at the right time!

His vids have previews before you buy.

Enjoy!

Paul Reed Smith spoiled me. I doubt I'll ever pick up
another instrument again, but that's a personal decision...

I found a buyer for my vintage Kramer.

It's gonna be hard to say goodbye to it, but it's heavy
as a ship anchor compared to today's materials.

It would seem as such. It just gets entered today adn i'll already excited, in for a long next couple months. I guarantee she will play like freaking butter.

As for PRS's haven't played one, too rich for my blood.

I have a 87 Kramer Baretta 1 and a 83 Kramer Pacer. I'm the 2nd owner of both but they were less than a year old when I bought them. I'm just getting back into playing after many many years of nothing. I picked up a used Vox DA-15 amp last month for my birthday. It's a pretty decent amp for just playing by myself.

Awesome, Traveler. I also have an '87 Baretta! Bought it new and it's been a sweetheart ever since. I've now got the 7-string bug and an Ibanez rg series takes most of the abuse these days.
