You know you're getting ole when the music you listen too is given a second name (Classic Rock which was just rock in the late 60's - early 80's), and some of your favorite TV stations are Nick at Night and TV Land.

but what if i decided to call myself a guitarist or sax machine? would i stil be a bassist if i changed my primary instrumental focus?

Okay, well, Geddy started on guitar and moved to bass and considers himself primarily a bassist, even though he does much more, so you could become something else and not be a bassist anymore, I suppose. But, perhaps you could become something else too.

I've actually got just over 6 years (physically at least. Mentally its more like 43)
