Maybe there was sand or sunscreen in the pro wireless set from your trip to the beach and it got clogged. I hate it when that happens.

I would like a laptop too! But, I do love my techtoys. I guess I just "live" with my PDA for now. LOL

Intel - Pro Wireless - 802.11x, you know the thingy that transmits data
to and from the cable modem and router.

How do you like your PDA? Do you find it hard to type messages on? Does the battery last long? Have you had your hands on the new iPhone yet.
It really is as shown on TV.
