I don't think the Hall is too kind to "prog" bands to begin with.
I agree with Lerxst. (h/t to Zed)

Is YES in the hall? Wouldn't that be a gaff to consider them a better prog band than Rush?

Comparing Yes and Rush is kind of an apples and oranges thing. Both awesome bands but very different from each other. Can't really say one is better than the other.

I totally get them deploying vessels to where their own ships are being bothered by pirates, but I fail to see how putting a naval presence in the Atlantic just outside of our territory is determent rather than aggression.

Earlier in this section I posted about a fire that had gutted the LDS tabernacle in the city of Provo, UT where I grew up. It was a very sad day for me.
Since then, the shell of the building has been standing there, the insides removed and hauled away, external supports holding the walls in place. I've long been wondering what the church was going to do with it. Tear it down? Restore it? Hadn't a clue.
On Saturday the church announced that they would be restoration using the remaining structure, but instead of being a tabernacle/meeting house it will going to be a new temple.
I know that to non-Mormons that's fairly meaningless. But to me it's very happy news indeed. Just thought I'd share.
Here's an artist's rendition of how it will look. For some reason he lift out the sky-scraper right behind it!
Edit: Photo link not working. Stand by.
Edit: Aw heck, you can see the pic here if you wish.

We've been playing cat-and-mouse with Bogies right off of our coast for
DECADES.
C'mon folks.

I was about to say wasn't this going on between Russian and US boomers during the Cold War?

You are correct Sir.
In fact, the Germans patrolled U-boats off of Cape Hatteras in WWII.
There is a memorial in Cape Hatteras placed by the British Navy honoring
a ship that were torpedoed off of Hatteras. Every year, there is a
memorial service performed at Hatteras by the British Navy to honor
their lost sailors.

So steve Jobs is gone
At least he lived long enough for Tim Cook to do well at his first Keynote Speech. The world is down one innovator, though. Okay, guys, who is stepping up as the next?

He was quite the entrepreneur, wasn't he?
Indeed. We were blessed to have him in our lifetime.
Now that I think about Apple, why aren't the Wall Street squatters bitter
about Apple's wealth?
Anybody know?
Seems like "selective rage" to me, but I could always be wrong.
