2 to 3 toasted bread slice's chopped
Instructions

Thank You, Kares!
I forgot you got to add the cut up toast to the poataoes as well they don't go on top. There are alot of versions for potatoe filling, so I say experiment. The only thing I added extra to mine was the toast and garlic man you got to have garlic with Me. It's kind of like potatoe pancakes, one of my favorites. Only thing you have to do differnt is cool the potatoes over night is best then add everything about make into pancake shapes and fry in butter to a golden brown instead of baking. Once again really good but you got to use ample salt after they are done.

I love Recipe topics hehe. To begin with mine, i do meatballs like the beginning post as well, except i use jellied cranberry sauce instead of grape jelly.
As for Lasagna, i do 1lb ground beef (extra lean for us). Boil lasagna noodles, mix cooked beef, a jar of sketti sauce, & a reg size tub of cottage cheese. Layer of noodles, meat mixture, parmasan, then a little moz cheese. Keep layering then cover top with moz cheese. over with foil, cook 45 minutes @ 350. Then take foil off, let set for 15 minutes at least. Cook garlic bread while waiting. I really like making my garlic bread out of sour dough bread, spread with butter or margarine, sprinkle garlic, or italian dipping spices & bake until its the way you like it.
As for pumpkin seeds, i been roasting some every year for almost 18 years now. I buy at least 4 pumpkins every year, i can only find the david brand any other time. I do not like david brand, they arent roasted enough, & have way too much salt.
And for the left over turkey we always have, i make turkey tacos. Everyone LOVES these, & sometimes i will buy a breast to cook just to make turkey tacos. Just heat chopped turkey with regular taco seasoning following the instructions on envelope per lb. The main thing thats a pain for these is, instead of the pe-made corn shells, you need to get the flat ones not cooked, fry in oil keeping them flat, but only fry them a few seconds on each side. They will be partly crispy, yet still bendable.
Here are a few other favs of mine.....
Oyster Cracker Munchies
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon chopped dried dill
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teasponn lemion pepper
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Original Salad Dressing mix
2 7 1/2 ounce boxes Oyster Crackers
1. In a medium bowl whisk together the oil, dill, garlic salt, lemon pepper, and dressing mix.
2. Put the crackers in a large flat pan like a lasagna pan, and pour the herb mix over them. With a spatula, turn and mix the crackers well so that the herb mixture coats each cracker. Let the crackers stand at room temperaturefor at least one hour, but stir and turn them every ten minutes or so.
3. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Put the uncovered pan in the warm oven and bake for 30 minutes. Again, stir several times so all sides of the crackers bake. Remove from the oven, cool, and store in a tight container until needed.
Hoagie rolls
Genoa Salami
Peperoni (i use turkey peperoni)
Provalone cheese
Tomato sliced
Ceasar dressing
Put salami on 1 side of opened hoagie, & peperoni on other. Broil in toaster oven or regular over until meat sizzles a bit. Take out of oven & put cheese on, put back into oven & let cheese melt. Take out again, then add tomato & dressing. Put whatever desired amount of each of the ingredients on as you want. You can add other ingredients if desired also, oh & have lots of napkins, we found a dish towl works great!
Tater tot casserole
1-2 bags of tater tots
1 lb ground beef (i use lean) per 9x13 pan
Velveeta (i use light)
smash beef onto bottom of pan, then slice velveeta & line in pan ontop of beef. Then line tater tots ontop of cheese, bake @350 for 45 min-1hour
Fruit Salsa
2 Granny Smith Apples
1 Pt Strawberries (more if you really like them)
2 Kiwi
1 Small Orange
2 Tablespoons Apple Jelly
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
Peel & core & dice apples. Dice strawberries, & peel & dice Kiwi. Put fruit into bowl. Juice the orange, add the brow sugar & jelly. Mix fruit & juice mixture together, gently folding into each other. Refrigerate.
Cinnamon chips
Use spray bottle, or baster brush to get small sized flour tortillas wet on 1 side. Sprinkle a Cinnamon/sugar mixture onto wet side. Cut into triangles with a pizza cutter, then bake @ 350. Minutes range from different ovens, mine is 8 minutes, my mother in laws is 12. So i would start with 5 minutes & keep an eye on them

We tried a new thing this weekend.
Baked Potato Salad.
Everyone has had potato salad right?
Well baked potato salad is made with whatever you would put on a baked potato. The trick is the red or russett potatoes are best for this.
Brown and yellow potatoes just are not best for this one.
Bake the potatos as normal then mash them up in chunks then add whatever.
(Chives, sour sream, cheese, green onion, bacon bits)....Whatever.
Stir and serve, hot or cold.
We had it cold, and I loved it.
