That's a really good looking horse. Are you still involved with troters/pacers Wendy or wrestling alligators?Wendy wrote:OK, here's an oldie, I'm in the brown coat closest to the horse's head.

Oh DUH!! My apologies Spud and Wendy. I didn't see the quotes, etc. I just saw you posting with a pic with a racer and thought it was you.Mr. Potatoe Head wrote:That was Wendy's picture not mine. She said she is the one standing next to the horse.Kares4Rush wrote:Awesome pic, Spud!!! Me jealous.

Freeze this moment a little bit longer...
Nothing quite so glamorous anymore, I now work in the landscape plant nursery business. I miss the ponies a lot though.Mr. Potatoe Head wrote:That's a really good looking horse. Are you still involved with troters/pacers Wendy or wrestling alligators?
Like I said, that's an oldie. It was one of my lifetime favorite jobs.
I was a groom/exercise driver.
Thanks for asking Spud.

Yay! It's good to see you!
I haven't made it as far north as Cargary yet.
Back in '81, right after graduating high school, my friend and I drove (his 1972 Camaro SS, that was fun) up to Cardston where his sister lives, and then over to Waterton Parks. Man, good times. And beautiful territory.

Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

Thank you all for the positive feedback on my pix.
Below,a view upriver. Indian Paintbrush and Asters are the red and purple flowers. Yellow are the Rockroses. Wildflowers were blooming in bursts everywhere you looked.
Jams of butterflies floated around flowers in the dappled shade of the woods.
