A bit chilly here, but been purdy this summer. Had all four of my kiddos home this weekend for my wedding and boy I tell ya it was nice to hear the four of them together again, even the bickering! LOL

Yes, it's good to have that kind of "commotion" every now and then! :)

****refills your mug and carries on****

We finally got some good rain here. We've been in a drought for quite
some time.

I saw some interesting anomalies during the dry spell. Just about every
wild animal you can think of has hit the bird bath looking for a drink.

Raccoons, polecats, 'possums, deer.....saw our first black bear around
here drinking out of it (they ususally stay in the mountains but they're
moving down to the foothills now) in the evening and the goofy thing
knocked it over...at least it had no cubs and left the chickens alone.

That was a relief!

Even the yellow jackets and bees were drinking out of it. Crazy!

Not had much trouble with wild animals about except for deer figuring out how to get through the mesh and eating out berries lol We haven't been hot and staying hot, we have just had heat then it cools off then some more heat then more cool. Kinda nice summer really.
