It's about 5? F out there there this morning. The high yesterday was about 17? yesterday... or less. About noon today a pacific storm is supposed to move in. It'll snow all afternoon, but at least temps will be pushed up into the mid 20's.

That must be what we have had going on since about 9pm. Luckily its the little almost like ice/rain kind of snow. Only a few inches of accumulation so far. Forcast was 4-8", not sure when it's supposed to stop today either.

Snowing and blowing winds today.
Kids got outta school one more day. Three extra days on their Christmas Break.
Then more snow and rain tomorrow.
This is not fun.

How did it go? The getting home, I mean.
It's raining ice now and should do all day. It's my turn for a scary drive, I think.

We are getting kind of like that here. 34 degrees and we got about an inch of new junk over night. It is supposed to really unload rain prolly tomorrow. I hope the roof and basement walls and floor can take it.

IT'S 42 DEGREES HERE RIGHT NOW. SNOW IS MELTING!!!!!!
2/3 of my roof is now safe. But the roads getting to the major arterials are a mess. Lotsa compact ice covered in standing water. I bet they are a lot better for the drive at 5.
