On the flight home, I saw a guy near me playing rhythm patterns with both hands and so when we were standing there waiting to de-plane I asked him if he was a drummer.
He gave me a strange look but admitted to being one. Then he asked how I knew. I told him I've a house full of them and that I'd seen him beating out the patterns that non-drummers wouldn't play. He relaxed a bit then and we spoke about Zoro until the line started moving.

Hey, we are alot alike in regards to playing impaired, or not. I found out a long time ago that I play like crap when drunk and/or stoned. That is why I play ........
......... mostly sober.
