My gourd! We're going to be at 70 f tomorrow! No more sliding on ice for a while. Meanwhile, a town in Ill. is completely shut down. No driving, no walking, no coming outta yer hoose.

*Still grumbling about wanting 70 degree weather and not almost 3 feet of snow.*

If it were to jump to the 70's here we would have floods. Bad ones from all the sudden mountain runoff. I'd just like it to have highs in the mid 30's right now. That would feel pretty good, but keep things under control.

Oh I hear you there. I live way uphill of the closest "Water", but there are mountains all around my place. I think a slide from either would bury us but good.

I just found out Chris made $220.00 from the various neighbors down the street.

The snow is piled in my front yard as tall as I am.................6'1''

Image

We re-cut the path to the garage door like last Saturday's pix, had to get more shovels out. Then I went to busting out the back wall icicles.

Image

I got smucked in the face by a hunk of ice that felt like getting punched. It cut my cheek, but I had a mission.....a mission to kill icicles, and that is what I did.

That really is an insane amount of snow you got there, man.
Sorry you got hurt. :(
I should go break some of those things down from my roof too. But my kids think they're so pretty...
