Currently listening to Thom York's (Radiohead vocalist/guitarist) debut solo album 'The Eraser'...hmm, interesting. Seems very much in the same vein as the most recent Radiohead material, kinda left-field electronica with his unique vocal style and odd lyrics.
I also have the new Les Claypool (awesome Primus bassist) solo album 'Of Whales and Woe' but I've yet to hear it.
Thankyou for listening :-) .

you made me go and d/load it when I read that........cheers slaine I forgot what an excellent piece of music it is :-D

I also d/loaded a version of Celtic Frost doing Danse Macabre.......it had in the title 'scary halloween music'.......I cant comment on that one yet as I played the first few seconds and at this time of night it would have scared the shit out of Caelan......one to play in the morning first I think

I enjoyed her debut, talented singer songwriter. I submitted a thread but no one showed any interest.

Currently listening to 'The World of Mann', (a uk cash in for the upcoming fathers day) a good compliation of Manfred Mann ('s Earth band) material. Oh nostalgia.

My eldest daughter brought the album to the attention of us Ogg's but she killed it for us all by overplaying (not that I'm ever guilty of that :-) ). A few good songs on the album with good vocals, didnt the guitarist/song writer leave and they sort of imploded?, shame.

Currently listening to 'Father of day Father of Night' by Manfred mann's Earth Band, a cover of a Bob Dylan tune.

Father of night, Father of day,
Father, who taketh the darkness away,
Father, who teacheth the bird to fly,
Builder of rainbows up in the sky,
Father of loneliness and pain,
Father of love and Father of rain.

Father of day, Father of night,
Father of black, Father of white,
Father, who build the mountain so high,
Who shapeth the cloud up in the sky,
Father of time, Father of dreams,
Father, who turneth the rivers and streams.

Father of grain, Father of wheat,
Father of cold and Father of heat,
Father of air and Father of trees,
Who dwells in our hearts and our memories,
Father of minutes, Father of days,
Father of whom we most solemnly praise.

My sister's ex husband loved MMann's EBand and I havent heard this for at least fifteen years.
