I'm surprised no one here enjoyed that. At least Xan should get a kick out of it.

Anyway, as I work here my car and the roads are being buried in snow. I'm starting to agree with Leon.

The lesson I have learned is that no matter how bad your situation, it could always be worse. not having power sucks and is a major inconvenience, but I have friends and family and I have had a place to do my laundry, eat a good dinner and a warm place to sleep.. There are a lot of people here that are in shelters or toughing it out in the cold because they do not have a place to go. and not to mention the people who are working their asses off in frigid temperatures trying to restore power to the area. We have contractors from as far away as West Virginia working around the clock to return life to normal. I am sure they are making good money, but they are earning it...

Things could be worse...

I tried it and no vid screen Elf. Dogs in the snow must be a HUGE security
risk.

We have contractor crews there from VA, with some returning from Ohio,
and some up northeast in NH as well.

It's not just the manpower that is needed. It's the extra cable clamps,
terminations and splices that are needed as well. They are a commodity,
just like copper and aluminum, and hundreds - if not thousands of them
are needed to repair cables in just ONE SMALL CITY.
Don't start none...won't be none.

Just got the chance to watch it. I have never seen a dog have more fun doing anything, ever. Kinda makes me wish I was a dog. Arf.

I'm the biggest fan of winter, but with the obnoxiously frozen air and also having vehicular difficulties it's making me hate it as well.

Just got home and watched this vid. What a hoot.

About 12-13 years ago our dog Buddy did about the same thing at my dads house. He loved the snow though.
Bonsai hasn't tried to "romp" through the snow this year. But he has gained a bit of weight. A little on the chunky side, per the vet. :-D

So the city plows came thru while we were all at work yesterday........(This was also after they plowed our street Sunday night)..........and thankfully we had the brains to clear that monster berm on Saturday.

So when we got home about 6pm ish we has a 2' berm to cut out.

I can only imagine how bad that berm at full size would have been.
