and here you go....

Henry, who was 26, was away from the Bengals after being placed on injured reserve last month with a broken forearm. Police said Henry and Tonga got into an argument at the Tonga family home and she drove away in a pickup truck.

Police said Henry then jumped into the bed of the truck. Witness Lee Hardy told reporters he heard Henry say, "If you take off, I'm going to jump off the truck and kill myself."

A 911 caller told a dispatcher she saw a shirtless man wearing a cast "beating on the back of this truck window." A later 911 caller said he saw an unresponsive man laying on a curvy, residential road about eight miles northwest of downtown Charlotte.

Police say Tonga stopped to assist Henry after he "came out of the back" of the pickup. Henry died about 18 hours later at Carolinas Medical Center. The autopsy showed the cause of death as blunt-force trauma to the head.

Does not sound like he was looking to love her..IMHO.. I wonder how this story would have turned out if she had stopped the truck and he got to her. just food for thought... :-)

Figgered this thread is good-a-place-as-any, so I'm gonna go on a rant
about these playoff-bound teams benching the starters...

I'll keep it short and sweet and say that although I understand what
Indy and others are doing, I one-hundred-percent DON'T LIKE IT.

This primadonna shit is for the birds. The '72 Dolphins didn't tank
their last regular season games that year (by benching starters).

Ponder this: Michael Phelps didn't tank the last laps in his swimming
competitions when he had them won, and these NFL teams shouldn't
either.

The Colts totally let me down. What was the sense of weekly picks after
week 14 when playoff teams starting benching starters?

My point is: Manning has ONE SB ring in TEN YEARS. Indy could have
re-written history and made us all go out and buy new NFL books...but
NO! They're too "cool" for that....Whatever. If Indy goes down at home,
at least you'll know why.

Don't get me wrong - I'm still a diehard Colts fan. I stayed with them
when they left Bo'mo' on that snowy night in '84, and I'll stay with them
now. I just don't like this sandbagging crap.

On a lighter note, I look for 'skins coach Zorn to get the boot today.

Rant finished.

Indy deserved to get their asses kicked in Buffalo!

Any other team that benched players deserved it, too.

I'll give NE props for putting Brady BACK IN in the 3rd quarter, although it
did nothing for them.

Welker- DONE- Torn ACL and MCL- see you in two years.
Brady- JUST ABOUT DONE- three broken ribs and ring finger on throwing hand broken.

If the Pats go far in the playoffs I will be shocked.

That was a tough game to watch, Bro. I felt bad for Welker and Brady,
but it's never pretty when you're fighting for your playoff "life."

Did anybody touch Welker? It looked like he injured it on its own.

I thought to myself that NE was just a "playoff" team this year, but then I
remembered their run as a Wild Card, and that thought soon went to the
wayside...until yesterday. They gotta dig deep.

Welker planted and turned (no one touched him) I saw his leg buckle- as soon as I saw that I said "Torn ACL"

The Pats were the third seed going into yesterday and (I believe) they dropped to fourth.

And on the bright side...........the Chiefs bent Denver over good.

Like it really mattered anyhow, other than keeping Denver out of the playoff picture.

HA! Truth be known, he was fired in SD before before he even changed
into street clothes.

DC - Say hello to Coach Shanahan.
