It will be a tough game.

But the AFC title game showed that with a
halfway decent team, we should have won.
With the improvements, we definately have a chance.

And much like you coming to NE couple years back
intent on finally beating us, we will be intent on winning that
game for sure. Make sure you play Moss on your fantasy
team that week.

:-D

Actually, if you read the "Oh, For The Love of Football" thread I spoke of it there.

Who smokes the pot now?

you and your fellow chowd MK, cause you are both high if you think the Pats are getting by the Colts in the RCA dome... you may be better this year but we are better than the Colts team you played in the AFC title game.

How so? You lost 1/4 of your team from last year....

all of those players we lost have been replaced by players we drafted. Jason David and Nick Harper were not a big loss anyway, our corners now our bigger and more physical. Ugoh replaced Glenn very nicely and Cato June was replaced by Freddy Keaihou, He is better anyway. How many middle linebackers has the Colts lost over the years, Its the Colts' system, not the players. The only player we could lose that would truly hurt is Manning.. You notice the Colts keep their core group and fill in the pieces with the draft. very rarely do they go out into free agency and make big signings, unless certain teams are foolish enough to let the most clutch kicker in NFL history slip away  this years Colts are 10 times better than last year. You will not drop 38 on our defense, guaranteed.. you may have gotten Moss, which was brilliant (and yes he is on my fanasty team) but your defense is old and slow. I think the whole world is going to see that when you play Dallas and Indy which have big time offenses, the Jets and Bills O stinks, and you caught San Diego at a good time, new coaching staff and all. I think you guys are going to run into a buzz saw when you play Dallas.. IMHO.

Clutch?

Hardly...look at his stats!

http://www.nfl.com/players/adamvinatier ... =VIN196019

He's only 90% on FG and PAT's

Clutch?? My ass!-compared to what he used to be!

EDITED for clarity and because Hairy is a comedian

he is clutch when it counts.. Look at 2001 he was 80% but yet without him you don't have your first Super Bowl title. He has never missed a field goal that meant anything for us. you guys f'ded up good letting him go and not even getting anything in return. He is still clutch dude, I know you pacify yourself thinking otherwise, but everyone of you Pats fans would love to have him back.

We would? I for one wouldn't. Fact- he has a bad back- one slip the wrong way and he could be finished.

everyone is one bad slip from injury.. please.. BTW... He was 14/15 in the playoffs last year, including 3/3 against you guys... the only one he missed was in the rain during the Super Bowl.

in fact, since you busted out the stats sheet, he only had two other seasons where his FG percentage was better than it was last year. 04 and 02.

Still, he has a bad back- he's had surgery on it. Gostkowski isn;t exactly stinking up Gillette.

uh, his back his fine, didn't he have surgery almost 3 years ago. BTW this year he his still kicking way above his career average and he has only missed onethis year, and that was because it was blocked.. Vinateri is nails dude, cracks me up you guys let a New England legend go, no Vinateri and Tom Brady is not even mentioned in the same sentence as Peyton Manning, thats the facts jack..

Old, outdated, antiquated = Vinatieri

Remember that when he slips a disc in his back trying to kick.
