I take it you never had to live through the 80's shitty british music first hand them Endless........... we heard on the bloody radio all the time!!

With the exception of what Rush was doing, the 80's were a vaccuum as far as good music goes. It was horrible.

Same here. I had Rush, Yes, Pink Floyd, Genesis, UK, Marillion, etc. on the turntable. Radio was horrible.

Being English I fully remember the TFF's explosion. Mad World is a classic song and the original cannot be bettered. I own several early albums on vinyl 'Songs from the big chair' and 'The Hurting' but I only play the g hits on a cd that I ripped, Woman In Chains is sheer class.
I find the cover depressing. Interesting arrangement but I dislike the vocal.
Did you know it was actually our Christmas Number One single here in England! That is so sad.

I saw TFF twice during tours in the US. I liked them, though I was/am more of a Cure fan than TFF.
I've always loved that song
The Working Hour. Great tune, IMHO.
