i love ghost stories too, but i can't help but be skeptical. i believe in spirits & souls, since ghosts don't exactly fit into my religion. i guess it's just because i've never seen one. well, my window looks out on part of about a 200 yr old settlement & there're remains from an old mill down by the creek. (we think there might be gold in the creek, & that could be why they settled there) do you mean to tell me nobody has died there?? i'd be surprised if there wasn't anybody buried around here.
there are a lot of our past animals buried outside my room under the windows, & i really do think their spirits have visited me before, but i have never seen nor sensed any kind of ghost. one night i was lying perfectly still in bed & all the lights were out in the house, & i heard footsteps. not the heavy kind, but the soft kind, like a cat walking on carpet. i heard them get closer & closer, til they sounded like they were right beside my bed. i was scared, so i flipped on the light, only to discover that nothing was there. this was just after one of my cats had died, & i think her spirit had come back to see me!
well, i guesh that's about it!

I think yesterday was just a Rushian day for me. On the way to see a movie with my husband, we passed a bunch of signs saying "Welcome home Alex" (for a service man just come home), and then there were two video machines in the movie theatre that said "Rush" and "Rocks" on them, with soime other smaller words that I, of course, ignored.
