I just got an e-mail here at work from the CEO of Johnstone Supply saying there are 6 stores in the fire area, all working normal hours except the San Diego store. So far so good as far as that goes.
My folks are out there for my niece's Christening. They're stranded now because of the fires and don't know when they'll be able to fly back out as the roads to San Diego and the airport are blocked off.
gourmet meals and massage tables set up in the Charger stadium tell me that isn't a conundrum of indifference compared to New Orleans. $$$$ BULLSHIT!!!!
Our power team has been deployed and will be flying into Ontario, CA tonight. Nevertheless just another conundrum of indifference were most people don't have a clue truth to be told.
My people have smoke to deal with, but are safe from the fires at this time. AND all are grateful that there are no riots as a result. Neighbors are helping neighbors from all accounts given me.
A conundrum of indiffernce can be applied to many aspects of life... racism
politics etc... Take a look at what happened in New Orleans with Katrina's
late response etc; etc; etc... and now in San Diego they are serving gourmet meals and have massage tables set up to relieve stress so in IMHO that surely qualify's for a conundrum of indifference. Conundrum of indifference; not fair, outrageously wrong, hard to explain, doing what's easy, not what's right.
So does that mean I get my name in the dictionary now?
