Hang tough there, LB2112, I know exactly what you are going through. My own house was terribly beat up after hurricane Andrew in 1992. We were wet through and through and had to throw the carpet away at the dump along with a lot of other stuff. Then it happened again with Katrina in 2005. Flooded the garage which is used as an office space,so,another huge mess to clean up. More carpet to throw away. We don't have carpet in any shape or form now in case it happens again, then all we'll do is mop up.

So, I do, truly sympathize with your situation and wish you the speediest
possible re- roofing completion so your life can get back to normal.

Keep up your good spirits, you'll get through this.
