"John Rutsey, who was a viking then, Geddy, who wasn't a viking and myself formed the band as it isn't today to patrol war-torn areas of the Middle-East and to incurr as many debts as possible. This we did with a passion."

Really ??
You know Aerosmitten ? there are many kinds of pizza flavours to be liked or hated of coarse, but if a girl smells like any one of those, there could be three things wrong..wether...,
1. She never washes her shirts...
2. She happens to be a Ronnie James Dio fan...
3. Or she tries to shake off the ghosts...( i know for a fact that they dislike pzza's ).
Point two, even I can understand....and for the rest, I hope for you it isn't the other two options... or just one of them
Tonny.

I saw many a show in Wooooooostah!!! (Grew up in New Hampshire)I've got pics of my 2nd Rush show there in December of 1984. It was grand! I swear, you can see Geddy's nose in the pics.EndlesslyRocking wrote:WOOOSTAH MASS!YYZ30 wrote:Worcester Centrum 12/91...for the life of me cannot remember the day...
I don't have faith in faith, I don't believe in belief, You can call me faithless, I still cling to hope, And I believe in love, And that's faith enough for me... Neil Peart

No, NO! I'm kidding!
I kid, because I love...
When I was at Boston College I saw a couple of shows in WOOOOSTAH.
Life in two dimensions is a mass-production scheme...
Rush tours I saw
I'd have to dig through a pile of stuff to find my ticket stubs to get accurate dates..maybe later.
(I'm new around here by the way...hi all).
The first time I saw Rush was after the release of All The World's a Stage!
About 3,000 people in a 6,000 seat arena.
Location was London Ontario Canada.
Venue: London Treasure Island Gardens.
General Admission ...needless to say our asses were pressed right against the front barricades!
I saw Rush in this arena on every tour from All The World's A Stage right through to and including the Moving Pictures tour.
I still have the Hemispheres tour book AND the Hemispheres tour shirt!
We used to go behind the arena and meet the band...my friend had photos of us standing with them...and also of Alex and Geddy leaning against their cars.
London Ontario is about a 2 hour drive from their hometown of Toronto, they used to drive to the local area shows in their own cars...they would race down the 401 highway to see who would get their first...they actually told us that they did this!
I still have newspaper clippings from all of the gigs...and a few of these clippings have pictures from the show!
I didn't get to see RUSH again until the SARS concert in Toronto!
I'm going to the 30th Anniversary Tour in Montreal!
