It was kind of cool, but they used the cool futuristic technology like in the other shows, and it should have been more archaeic looking.

Whoever plays whoever, they have to be younger than they were in the origional.
They are in Star Fleet Academy.
And Kirk don't get the Enterprise till Captain Pike get's all munged up.
