We are happy for Shawn too! Quite.
As to the rain, we are supposed to get an inch today here at home. My husband told me that where he is (about an hour east of us in the town bordering the rain forest) the rain there has even the long time residents wondering.

I can imagine that...That's just too much rain for anybody or anything...I always heard it rained a lot up there, but geez...I couldn't handle that...
I'm one of those people who has to have frequent sunshine or I go nuts...hahaha
Good thing the 'hawks play in a dome!
You're pulling for the COLTS this week, right?

Where I live it isn't so bad. December is supposed to be our rainiest month, and that is normally only 4.4 inches of rain. I do miss the sun, though, as we get dark earlier and light later than where I grew up.
I am pulling for the Colts, yeah, right.
TO LOSE!
LOL

when I stayed in WV, the mountains were so close together that, in the "holler" my folks lived at, they only had 5 or 6 hours of sunlight the whole day....even in the Summer...
AWIP!!! that's just WRONG hahaha
you're a "closet" Colts fan...you just won't "come out" *hearty belly laughs*

When the kids are grown and the old people don't need us anymore, hubby wants to move me to a warmer, sunnier place.
I am NOT a closet Colts fan. I am a closet contemporary Christian fan. *razz*

HAHAHA I like that comeback! Well put!
I gotta pull for the 'skins this week, so don't go tearing up my adoption papers just yet, okay?
It's gonna be cool to see how the 'hawks handle the pressure...If they beat Washington I see them going all the way....oops...wait a minute...there a PANTHER scratching me, telling me not to forget THEM!!! OH NO!! THERE'S A BEAR!!!! REDSKINS AND PANTHERS AND BEARS...OH MY!!!

Aren't the 'hawks, like, 0-and-forever in playoff games?
Radio and TV stations in DC are calling it "The Battle in Seattle"

No they actually won IN MIAMI of all places in like 81 and were in the AFC title game but lost to the Raiders. They may have won a wild card game in the old Kingdome too.

Yup, good ole Jim Zorn.
For years he was the only Seahawk I knew, then Largent.

My folks live about an hour away from the 'hawks former RB Curt Warner's hometown of Pineville, WV....They named Pineville's main street after him ....He played with Largent if I'm not mistaken...

ESPN most painful 25 NFL moments:
14. Matt Hasselbeck's fearless prediction. Good times: being at a baby shower in Connecticut with a bunch of displaced Seahawks fans watching a playoff game against the Packers as Hasselbeck says "We want the ball and we're going to score" after he wins the overtime coin toss. Silence at baby shower. Seahawks fans know. Needless to say, the baby is not named Matt.
