So I git back yesterday..... and was greeted by the transit strike today.

I made it to work somehow.... but how the fugg am I getting home????

I'm i-ight 'cept for the fuggin transit strike....

I may have to take the New Jersey train to the city..... because those aren't affected... then walk over the Brooklyn Bridge into Brooklyn, which still leaves me some ways from home.....

Well, before the strike our offices' HR department sent this e-mail around saying they expected everyone to show up. My co-worker was smart (she lives in Brooklyn too) and she called in sick Monday when things were still running smoothly.

She e-mailed today she was still a bit sick and wasn't going to walk for 3 hours with a 10-degree wind chill when the office was so quiet anyway and to contact her at home if we needed anything. Heh heh. But NO unscheduled vaca days were allowed.

It looks like my boss is bagging tomorrow too so I feel better about that. They're both heading out of town Wednesday night so...

Dang......................Now the news says the Transit thing is being fined 1 million a day till it's up again. Hope it don't take too long for you all.
