and get you arse up to Scotland light :)
Actually we want to meet some of our fellow UK Bytoreans. We must get together for a group discussion on where to meet, how many days, and budgets of course. We still got time though. And let's see who can hold their beer the longest. :-D
I would love to meet up with some ByTorians, as long as I have ample time to arrange time off work etc. I live at the bottom of the Uk map, Schu' at the top so mutual middle ground should suffice. Please keep me informed.
I'm not much of a drinker, would some nice green make up for it? :-D .

She'd win the drinking contest for sure. I got all giggly when I had a few sips of Guinness beer with DA. I'm able to hold down Irish Cremes. I usually start out with Pepsi sodas before going into heavy stuff. DA gave me whisky to try once and everytime I took some swallows, I shrieked and shuddered. Strong stuff! :-D

Don't worry Hairy. We are going to take plenty of pics. We're going through plans first. Ogg and Schu, what method of transportation will you take? DA and I were looking at the map and I thought Sheffield looked decent. He found another town but I'll let him tell you the name. Do either of you have suggestions for towns? If Slaine's not doing anything, tell him to join us Ogg. :-)

Just to elucidate a bit....

Meeting half-way between Ogg and Schu lands us somewhere near Birmingham, or a bit further North. I dislike big cities, especially Birmingham, and including Manchester. But if either of you is travelling by train, it'd be best for us to meet up somewhere near a main line between Scotland and the South West.... which means Birmingham or Manchester. I guess Crewe might work? Rushlight and I will be travelling by car, so we can be a bit more flexible.

As for dates, 'light is here through November, but my sister's getting married in the middle of the month, so there's a weekend on which we cannot travel.

I am prepared to either drive or take the train (suicide bombers aside). For once I'm determined to get this together. I'll meet up anywhere. Back again when I have more net time.

I guess now we need Schu to tell us what her transport options are (or are not, as the case may be....), and then we can start Planning. :-D

Have you contacted Liam yet? H3WMW is his moniker here. He lives up by Schu and has met up with her before, so she may have his home contact info.
