well good news is that she is home. bad news is that I have been up most of the night taking care of her. she's not out of the woods yet. She only tossed her cookies once but the doctor called me back and said that she should have more liquid stuff. she's on a painkiller now so she's out. i havven't eaten, slept properly or been with devil's advocate except only for short periods of time. I am miserable. I miss him. I miss him terribly and I wish my mother would be 100% beter and I don't have to worry about her dealing wit pain, nausea, or fever. dad isn't much help either because he's an old man in his late 70's. oh god help meee

Just thought about updating. My mum has been to the emergency 2 times. Complications from surgery. She had to go through surgery again and this time it went well. Weeks went by, I took care of her and my father.Thankfully, I still have a job. My siblings have come over and we took turns taking care of our parents. After weeks, her stitches have come off, she doesn't get pain anymore, and she can eat well. I had a thyroid scare as it got bigger and went through a biopsy that hurt like shit. Luckily, it's benign and the thyroid is overactive. I'm taking pills for it. I applied for an insurance and got rejected but you just got to keep trying you know? D.A. and I will be together again around late October to the end of November. (November definitely) So things aren't so bad. I have been steering through rough waters and it's going well.

it sounds like things may not be looking up for you, but you're looking up yourself.
