Sabbath were good but they don't hold a candle to Led Zep - few bands do

I tend to stay with the '70 thru '78 Sabbath... although I liked some stuff with Ian Gillan

VH has the best guitarist anywhere, & a just-behind-Geddy bassist

I can see how a case could be made for Eddie (though I don't agree), but you surely must be kidding about Michael Anthony.

I have had the dubious "pleasure" of seeing his bass solos on more than one occassion live, and they are pretty rank, believe me!

He "does the job" for VH, but he has always had a rather plodding, pedestrian style, and I just cannot see how any comparison between him and Geddy could be made

is he that bad live? i've never seen or heard him live, but personally, i like his studio style, at least.

Zep owns all that is VH...... That being said.

EVH needs to ged off the bottle and remember that he has a guitar, not his unit in his hands.................. His solo sucked all the butt on the planet when I saw them in Oct. He was so drunk he STOPPED PLAYING twice and said "Oops, I fugged up" right on the mic.

Michael Anthony, well his back up vocals still pierce your skull........ His bass skills are all good, to get the job done. He pounded on his guiter and drank JD. Not really a solo...........IMHO

AVH.............. Solid, not too flashy like always.............. I have a video of a concert and his solo then was WAY better than when I saw them in Oct.
But still a good solo.

Sammy............. Excellent. I like DLR also, but he can't hold a candle to Sammy's singing range. DLR had better stage presence.

Hope I didn't shred anyone's feelings, not my plan, just givin my opinion. :-)
