Well.....Junior was heading for a decent 13th place finish at Sonoma - a
track he's notoriously bad at - and somebody takes him out on the last
restart.

I guess it's just "one of them racin' deals" (as DW would say).

It's okay.....he fell one position to P3 in points but he's still only 16 or so
out of the points lead. That equates to a good finish by Dale Jr and a
mid-pack (or worse) finish for the 2 drivers ahead of him.

Drive it like you stole it, Junior.

ouch.. He is 47 too.. you would think he is old enough to know better.. :-)

Doing that by yourself is stupid enough.

Doing that with a passenger on the back is the pinnacle of stupidity.

So....what'd you think of the Daytona Demolition Derby?

I didn't like it one bit. Crazy how Junior gets gathered up in the wreck on
the last lap and still scores a T15, isn't it?

Silly finish, but we'll take it in the Nation.

Junior's back to P2 in points again going into NH.

Just got back from NHMS......I'm kidding.

Another T5 finish for Junior at the midway point of the season.

Junior took a P10 car and finished 4th. Still P2 in points and gained some
points on Kenseth to boot.

The Cup crews get a week off and then it's the Brickyard....another
snoozefest just like NHMS. (Qualify in front and STAY there....)

GET SOME, JUNIOR.

I wouldn't be surprised - takes that damn long to get out of there.

Martinsville is pretty tough to get out of too, but I think Kentucky takes
the prize.

Sigs where are ya bro!!!

:-D Who took over the points lead yesterday???

JUNIOR DID! WOOT!

Junior also tied Gordon's long-standing record for lead lap finishes in a
season.

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Kenseth for pushing Junior up
towards the front on the Lap 52 restart. That was a classy move.

As boring as that race was, it was Junior's best finish at Indy - and
ANOTHER sign that this could be Junior's year to get it done.

It would be cool to see Jr get a championship..

Man, I have to tell you though Sigs.. that is the first race I have actually watched this year.. booooring... I can hardly watch it anymore between the sterile racing and the retarded commercials, which it seems like there are more of those than the actual race..

that Carl Edwards fears only two things commercial was the worst..

Y'all are just bitter because your driver sucks this year. :P

In all seriousness, I agree about the CE commercial. **GAG**

The one where Junior is holding up a sign with Danica's "cell number" on
it was kinda funny.

This run of big flat BORING tracks is getting me down. Pocono
(another snoozefest) is coming up....c'mon Richmond and Bristol...

when I saw that I wondered how many rednecks put down their Jimmy John's sandwich, picked up their Sprint wireless phone and called that number thinking they were going to get to talk to her... :-D
