Actually the next 3 tracks are "Junior-friendly."

I just read where Junior had an "experimental" setup for Texas and still
pulled a T10 finish.

I think the writing is on the wall.

Helluva run at Richmond for Dale Jr....a 2nd place finish with no brakes is
nothing short of superhuman. Well done.

So far Dale Jr. is 2nd in points, 5 points out of P1 with 7 T10's in 9 starts (4 of 'em Top 5's).

Some of the guys at my work do a fantasy Nascar thing. I don't get it. They would do bowling or golf too if they had a chance.

They should follow Nascar.

After all, you have two WA homeboys driving in the Cup Series:

#5 - Kasey Kahne

#16 - Greg Biffle

They were, for the most part. Then Nascar went large.

Now there's a Canadian Nascar Series (Cascar). Go figure.

Here's a shocker: Every U.S. mainland state has hillbillies.

My family is from southern WV (Princeton, Welch)

Watch the History Channel documentary called "Hillbilly" (narrated by
Billy Ray Cyrus).

The "founders" of Nascar are shown.

It's on YouTube if you can't watch it on TV.

Enjoy!

Talladega = another T10 for Dale Jr.

Junior and Kasey Kahne were the only Hendrick cars running at the end.

Junior slipped to P3 in points but only lost 4 to the leader.

He's now 9 points out of P1 ten races in.

Not a bad deal heading into Darlington, a Hendrick-dominated track.

What is more suprising? She put somebody in the wall because she is a hag with anger issues OR she apologized for it..

I only came up to tap him to say that I was disappointed and frustrated that he turned over into me and put me in the wall, which I later found out was the fact he had a flat tire,'' Patrick said. "That also is why he turned right when I tapped him.

On Monday, NASCAR stuck by what vice president of competition Robin Pemberton told reporters on Sunday -- that Patrick would not be penalized but that both competitors would meet with officials prior to Friday night's Nationwide race at Darlington.

Crock of shit.. Busch would have been suspended..

"Unfortunately, a flat tire was the source of some pain there,'' said Patrick, who finished 13th in the race, one spot behind Hornish. "He didn't mean to do it and I surely did not mean to put him in the wall. We're fine. It's a non-issue.''

Patrick said she already has spoken to Nationwide Series director Joe Balash and told him, "I don't want you to think this is what I was trying to do. This is not my style. I wasn't trying to put him in the wall.''

Even bigger crock of shit..

NASCAR officials remained adamant that this incident was not in the same category as last year when Kyle Busch was parked for a Nationwide and Sprint Cup race after intentionally wrecking Ron Hornaday Jr. under caution in a Truck Series race.

yeah.. not gonna park the Princess.. gotta keep the t shirt and ticket sales rolling..

Na$car is a crock...

Smoke mouthed off after 'dega on National TV and got a "pass"...

Jimmie Johnson got a recent penalty "reduced"...

I don't agree with the pandering either.

What's good for one driver should be good for all.

Good call, Soup.

Good run for Junior at Darlington, all things considered.

He still hasn't finished worse than 20th in a points race this year, has
completed every lap of every race and stays 3rd in points for a second
week.

Hat's off to Danica for bringing Junior and JR Motorsports a 12th place
finish in the NNS race driving the #5 GoDaddy Chevy.

On another note, what the hell is going on with Jeff Gordon?

He's like Dale Jr 2009/2010...it's like there's always a sub-par team at
Hendrick every year....'supwitdat?
