That was during an interview - that's why Junebug got fined and points deducted.

True. Just making a point that Junior had his share of on-air slip-ups and
got nailed for it too.

It's not mutually exclusive.

I guess what I am saying is being on the radio as opposed to having a mike and three cameras in your face you should know to clean your mouth up in the latter situation.

I think it's fair that she gets fined for it.

Eury Jr too. He dropped the word that rhymes with "Whitt" :-D

Dale Jr now has 5 Daytona 500's with a finish of P3 or better.

This may be his year. Looking ahead, JJ practically owns Phoenix and will
probably fare much better there this weekend.

Junior is pretty good there too, but has some work to do.

I hope Jr has a great year! :-)

Of course, we knew he definitely didn't do it to avoid the radio
communication rule. No chance. lol

Hey, if he can exploit a gray area of the rules, that's what Knaus would
absolutely do, so....why not?

Sorry Siggy - I am not being a cynic in this case.

If he's using the phone during the race to communicate then by all means he should be punished. The fact that he tweeted during a red flag stop, told the fans what was going on AND the organization is embracing social media as opposed to other sports speaks loudly to me.

I realize there's like z-e-r-o chance he could even use it while driving anyway.

It's all good. I say more-power-to-him.

They showed one of his tweet pics on TV and it was behind the wheel
during...(I want to say) a caution....a over-the-dashboard POV pic.
