Okay, the Red Sox have gone in to their post-All-Star slump a bit early this year but so far they are hanging tough.

There is a guy at work (yeah, I have a "real" job now) who is a huge Yankees fan and every day he has to stop by my desk and tell me the scores and standings. :( I think I'll be stealing his "help yourself" chocolate stash and I'll tell him he can have it back when the Red Sox win the World Series. 8-[

That's sadly my point, By-tor. He'll NEVER get it back.

Join the club,Sir By-Tor. Go Yanks. Lead is down to six games. Yanks need to put together some wins. 4 games vs. the Rays comin' up. Those boys are breathin' down the Red Sox necks right now

Well then.... thanx for takin' care of the Sox for me  . You guys miss Rick Petersen yet. He's a damn good pitching coach.

The BoSox have crushed us these past two games. Figures, they decided to come out of their hitting slump now.

Petersen is one of the best, but with the A's having the best ERA in the AL, I don't think we're missing him just yet. Does Curt Young have the ability to fill Rick's shoes? Only time will tell there. Course it doesn't help when the management keeps people like Rincon on the staff, and picks up guys like Rhodes.

Thanx for that info man... I didn't realize that the A's had the best ERA in the AL. I do know that the Mets have the best ERA in the NL. Petersen is doing a great job so far over there. I'm still hurt over the 3 game sweep the Muts handed my Yanks last weekend

You guys couldn't at least steal one from the Sawx? How long are you guys gonna be without Hudson? I was rootin' for you guys heavily
